JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a leading Irish Contractor with projects throughout the
UK, Ireland and Europe.
They have successfully completed projects across a range of sectors
including Infrastructure, Data Centres, Hospitality, Commercial,
Industrial, Healthcare and Pharmaceutical.
The Building Services Engineer position plays a crucial role in the
management and implementation of Building Services.
As a Building Services Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within
our project delivery team.
Working closely with project managers and subcontractors, you will
oversee all electrical/mechanical activities, manage resources
efficiently, and uphold our uncompromising standards of quality and
safety.
Manage & coordinate all phases of the MEP Services project delivery
cycle
Coordinate Design team information & details in time for project
delivery activities
Ensure implementation of the MEPL Services IPEP Management plan
Liaise with Mechanical, Electrical, Sprinkler, Lifts & Technical
Specialists Sub-Contractors
Ensure all MEP works are carried out to the highest level of Safety.
Inspect all installation works against the agreed level of approved
Quality plan.
Monitor Programmes & review installation progress.
Ensure design compliance & commissioning achievement with all
documents collated and O & M Manual’s development.
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years experience.
Qualification in Building Services / Engineering or Trade.
Undertaking all aspects of building services, working on a wide
variety of modern plant, equipment and systems controlled by BMS.
Previous Main Contractor experience is preferred, ideally project
experience
Excellent IT skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
